How long does a house clearance take?
An average home is often cleared within a day. With a larger property or a lot of contents it can take a little longer. During the survey we give you a realistic estimate of how long it will take.
What happens to the contents?
We sort the contents carefully. Usable items are given a second life where possible through a second-hand shop or a donation; the rest we remove responsibly and separated by type. Valuable and personal items are always set aside and discussed with you.
Do you hand the home over broom clean?
Yes. As standard we hand the home over broom clean, ready for the handover to the landlord, the estate agent or the new occupant. On request we can also arrange an additional final clean.
Do I have to be present myself?
That is not necessary. Once the key and the arrangements have been handed over, we carry out the house clearance independently and keep you informed. Would you rather be there? That is fine too.

Do you also empty the loft, cellar, shed and garden?
Yes. As standard we take the whole home with us, including the loft, the cellar, the storage room, the shed and, if needed, the garden or the balcony. Tell us at the survey what has to be emptied and we will include that in the quote.
Do you also work for rented homes and social housing associations?
Certainly. We regularly clear rented homes and hand them over broom clean in line with the requirements of the landlord or the housing association, so that you can pass the property on without any problems.
